Role: Design lead.
The goal for this product was to give Animoto's users a way to connect to their audiences via IG Stories. Our task was to create a new application that in time would guide the redesign of Animoto's older web app. With that in mind we started from the ground up. Really thinking about how this app would stands apart both visually and functionally form their prior web application. My team researched trending visual styles, text animation, and video trends to give animoto a fresh look for their stories creator.

Animoto was one of the 1st tech companies to design video for stories specifically. We sought out tons of visual research to influence our approach. My team introduced new social media influenced styles and text animations. We also introduced the concept of layouts with overlapping elements.
